The DT 109 series is used throughout the world for news gathering, film, TV production and live events.
The headphones are exceptionally comfortable with a soft headband and
ear pads. A high level of ambient noise attenuation is achieved with the

All DT 109 versions are supplied without connecting cable. Please order
the appropriate connecting cable separately (see accessories).
The
(nominal) sound pressure level is the pressure in pascals (Pa) with
which the air and the eardrum are caused to vibrate, better known as the
volume. The sound pressure level is therefore a measure of the volume
of a set of headphones under standardized conditions. However, it says
nothing about whether the distortion is low and the sound is good at
such a high volume.
The
polar pattern is the preferred pick-up direction of the microphone.
According to the shape of the corresponding measurement plot, there are
omni-directional, cardioid, super-cardioid or hyper-cardioid as well as
figure-of-eight patterns.
